Identity of Greg from Brother Dear

When Bernice Friesen wrote the story Brother Dear, he created a very specific identity to all of the characters. Even though they all have strong opinions about the way to live life, I chose to write about Greg because he is very opinionated and passionate about living life the way he wants to live it. I can relate to this because Greg is really into the way his life is going, as am I. He chooses to give up school, go protest and plant trees, as his father says, he is a hippe. Although i do not want to give up school and protest, I do have my own plans for life, and if my parents were to not agree of what i choose, I would not be shaken, just like how Greg chooses to stay strong and take a stand against his father.
